Google Page Rank 7 Steps to Success

Page rank success utilizes back links. Back links are links to your website from other websites. Experts speculate that the more quality back links your web page receives the higher your page rank.  Here are steps 2 and 3 in the series of 7 steps to success for your Google page rank.

2. Search Engine Directories: A search engine, such as Google, relies primarily on computers to seek and return results.  At the time of this printing, typing in the word “entrepreneur” returned 39,200,000 results in Google. If your target audience is entrepreneurs then you are competing in a highly saturated keyword market.

Directories are typically lists maintained by people. Website owners submit their website url and the directory has someone visit the site to verify what the owner submitted. Owners can submit their site for a specific category. Since directories tend to be smaller than general search engines websites are easier to find. In fact search engines crawl directories to return quality links to users.

Submit your website to search engine directories to create back links to your site, listed in a target market category, and create another avenue to develop your page rank.

3. eZines: Use the power of electronic magazines, ezines. Publishing an ezine delivers current information to your target audience about your product or service. Within the ezine you can direct your ezine readers to visit your website for more information, promotions or discounts. When a reader clicks on the link in your ezine they are creating traffic to your site. Increased traffic improves your website page rank.

Another terrific value of ezines is readers can forward them to people they think will benefit from the information. This, in effect, creates a type of “word of mouth” recommendation. If the recipient clicks on the links in your ezine you are benefiting from even more traffic to your site. As you can see the increase in traffic will help your page rank.
