Alluring Article Marketing to Pull Your Reader In

Is your article wooing your readers?

In my previous post Alluring Article Marketing Write It Right I gave you 3 tips for building a good foundation for your article. Here is a bonus tip, remember to put your reader first. Make them feel like they are a VIP to you-they should be a very important person. Give them what they really need to know. Do not just tell them what you want them to know. By treating your reader like a VIP you are building a relationship with them. You want loyal long-term customers and not just a one-time site visitor.

How can you win your reader’s approval? Here are 4 tips to pull your reader in.

  1. Writing TipsInterest: What is your reader interested in? If your business specializes in skin care products, then provide articles about health and beauty. In your article make that leap for your reader about how your products will benefit them in their health and beauty regime. If you do not know what interests your readers then do research. Use the Internet, social media, and observations you make in your local area. You can acquire a lot of relevant details to connect the interests of your readers with the products you provide.
  2. Title: Create a clever title. Keep it short and sweet. You want your title to be an amuse buche. That is a term I borrowed from the world of cooking. It means to give your readers a taste of what your article is about. In other words, you want to whet their appetites.  The title should be alluring to your reader.
  3. Content: Flashback to English 101 class: the key to any article is to answer these 6 questions for your reader Who? What? When? Where? Why? & How?  Your readers need facts, details, tips and strategies. Do not present the information in a dry and sterile format. Inject your personality. Be natural and relaxed. Remember content is king in Internet marketing as well as article marketing.
  4. Excitement: Throughout your entire article you should be building excitement to pull your reader in. From the beginning of your article set the tone that something good is at the end. During the article raise the reader’s anticipation. Do not lose your momentum at the end.  At the conclusion of the article deliver the good-use humor, inspiration or an emotional plea. Ask your reader to do something such as act on an opportunity “Don’t wait! Get started today!”

Create alluring article marketing with interest, title, content and excitement. You can pull your reader in if you have a good foundation and treat your reader like a VIP.
